Rocking Sunroom Additions

We bought new rocking chairs! Up until today I was rocking an antique chair but the cane had been breaking apart over the past couple of years. Also, there was only one rocking chair. I wanted something super comfy and even matchy matchy that Wayne and I could enjoy together. There’s nothing more New England than white porch rockers. Although these are in our three season sunroom I love the way they look and feel when sitting in them.

The vintage wrought iron beverage cart had previously been on the other side of the room. It took the place of Wayne’s great grandfather’s accent table.

This radio, an old flea find, has brought me a lot of joy over the years. We have an indie oldies a.m. station that always takes me back in time.

The woven seat ladderback chair had previously been next to the accent table. I placed it next to the midcentury lawn chairs.

These cubbies filled with kids books and games are to the right of our rocking chairs.

I purchased the glass top wrought iron table from a Prouts Neck estate sale many years ago.

It was cold and rainy today so we had the electric fireplace heater turned on.
